CHAMPIONS TROPHY 2025
The ICC Champions Trophy, previously named the ICC KnockOut Trophy.The first Champions Trophy was organised in Bangladesh in June 1998, with the Cricket World Cup having had existed for 23 years with six completed editions.Pakistan are the current champions after winning the 2017 tournament, held in England and Wales. The subsequent 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will be held in Pakistan.Pakistan was announced as the host of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, however, due to India's refusal to travel to Pakistan for the tournament citing security concerns, an agreement was made between the BCCI and the PCB for games to be played across Pakistan and a neutral venue, later announced as the UAE.
The Champions Trophy 2025 is all set to begin from February 19 with the opening game between Pakistan and New Zealand. The tournament will feature 15 matches played across four venues in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Dubai
